Among other hardware problems, you may find that your keyboard won’t work, or certain USB ports can’t be accessed. These can all be solved by using simple steps to keep your PC’s health in check. If you do notice a hardware problem that cannot be solved, take it to a computer repair expert.
A slow computer is almost always a software problem, unless you have an old computer. Now, how do we solve software problems? Run the programs in compatibility mode by clicking the file ending with exe. Select properties and click on the option that says “Run this program in compatibility mode” Make sure you prevent programs from starting up when the computer loads. This usually slows down its performance. If all else fails, repair/modify or uninstall the program and then reinstall it so you fix any potential problems the program may have. A slow computer can also be caused by a Virus.
When you wish to solve a computer hardware problem: use device manager by pressing the windows Key+R and typing “devmgmt.msc”. The device manager will show you all of your computer’s hardware components. If you expand all of the plus icons and come across yellow flags or question marks, this usually indicates a hardware problem. Try to disable the device and then re-enable it to see if it fixes the problem. If all else fails, give us a call and we will assist you with any necessary upgrades.
